Hunted Finds: Vintage Leather Sandals

I'm not particularly lucky when it comes to buying vintage shoes. For starters, I wear a size 9 which is actually the most common size presently. Unfortunately for me, back in my favorite eras (the 60s and 50s) the most common shoe size was about a 7. So vintage shoes for me are super rare to come by. Somehow I got very lucky one day when I picked up these really gorgeous handmade Ipanema sling backs at a local thrift store for $3! Yes, sometimes I get really lucky and spend next to nothing on vintage and other times I spend a fortune. Life is a mixed bag! I love how incredibly comfy these shoes are and how they add a unique touch to any outfit I pair them with. Perfect for summer!
