How To Wear Vintage: Printed Scarf

Vest: Forever 21, Scarf: Vintage (Similar), Basic Tank: Zara, Shorts: (Similar), Shoes: Old (Similar), Enamel Cuff: Vintage, Watch: Michael Kors

On a recent trip to the flea market, I encountered this vendor selling a boat load of vintage silk scarves for less than a dollar. Naturally, I poked around to see if there were a few prints that may have caught my eye. I ended up buying three scarves in various prints and sizes all for just one dollar! Vintage scarves can be found at almost any re-sale / antique shop, they are such a great accessory especially in the summer months!

Tip no. 5:  Pair a unique printed scarf with a minimalist outfit to add character!

I have yet to master the ability to mix prints, so when I’m wearing a minimalist outfit that’s when I’ll throw on a printed scarf to elevate the look! There are so many different ways to utilize a vintage scarf. Depending on the size, I’ll either tie a scarf to my bag, around my wrist, or around my neck. I found this really awesome article on Vogue.com that shows you how to tie a scarf like a Parisian (super chic)! Scarves are a perfect start to incorporating vintage into your wardrobe and the easiest way to add a pop of color to your look!
