How to Wear Vintage: Southwestern Sweater

Sweater weather is creeping up on us and I couldn't be happier about it! Nothing beats wearing a cozy knit on a chilly day. Having the ability to experiment with layers and sweaters is what fall on the east coast is all about! The only thing I'm missing in this picture is a latte of some kind, sorry folks I'm not a pumpkin girl! Don't get me wrong, I love summer and I raved about it on the bog, but I'm looking forward to the weather cooling down.

I'm a huge fan of shopping vintage for sweaters mainly because of the great quality and the uniqueness. I love sweaters that have interesting design elements like this 1970s southwestern sweater from Barnaby Jack Vintage! It's super comfortable, warm, and fits like a glove, exactly what I need for fall. I know what you're thinking, "vintage is one of a kind how do I get this?" Thankfully, there are many more options where this one came from! Barnaby Jack does an incredible job curating the best vintage and has an amazing sweater selection online. I love this option and this little slice of heaven

I approached styling this sweater the same exact same way I'd style a modern sweater. Since it has such a beautiful pattern, I wanted to let it shine. Styling vintage doesn't have to be a challenging experience. It can be as easy as throwing on your favorite pair of skinny jeans, a simple top, and great booties. I wanted to keep this look as simple and comfortable as possible!

Tip No. 20: Vintage sweaters that have western patterns can be styled simply with a great pair of jeans and booties. This allows the design elements to shine and keeps the look modern!
